is a civil contracting business based in Bungendore NSW owned and operated by John and Maria Dennehy. It has been in operation since 2004 after taking over a similar company (Dishment Pty Ltd) which ran for 15 years in this type of industry and also included gas projects in and around Sydney (for Golding), Optus, Telstra and Transact Communications, water and sewer.
 
Snowmax is essentially involved directly with communication companies, namely Telstra, Optus, ACTEW, various building contractors and various electrical contractors. Snowmax Pty Ltd is contracted to carry out all aspects of telecommunications work. Within the last three years, Snowmax has carried out work for the following companies: Tenix, Diverse, Transfield, O’Donnell Griffin, Bovis, Construction Control, Service Stream and MRB Data Communications Pty Ltd.
 
Recently we have completed work for Intech and Icon – mainly hooking up 52 schools for the Government Funded Fibre Optic Cable. We were assigned and carried out the groundwork for the installation of TV cameras for Belconnen, Civic and Woden, ACT.
 
Aside from Communications, Snowmax also carries out landscaping work. The jobs vary from small to large landscaping and construction projects for domestic and commercial customers including Palerang Council, several Real Estates, Building Contractors, plumbers, electricians and residential property owners.
 
Currently, Snowmax is undertaking a large project for the ACT Government. It is responsible for installing 120 Bus Shelters which involves digging footings, installing Rag Bolts, forming up and pouring slabs to proper levels and finally installing the Bus Shelters.
 
Snowmax employs two directors and a crew varying between three to five contractors as well as between to 10-14 employees.
